This Privacy Policy explains how Study Review AI (“the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Study Review AI mobile application. Study Review AI helps users review lectures, recordings, files, links, and text by generating study materials such as summaries, quizzes, flashcards, vocabulary, exams, translations, and related learning content.
1. Information We Collect
Account and sign-in information
When you sign in, we may process account information such as your name, email address, user ID, and sign-in provider. The App may support Firebase, Google, Apple, and Microsoft Teams/Microsoft 365 sign-in.
Microsoft Teams data
If you connect a Microsoft Teams account, the App may access information that you authorize, such as upcoming class events, Teams meeting links, recorded lecture file links, recording metadata, organizer information, team/channel names, and related calendar data. This is used to show recorded classes and upcoming classes inside the App.
Lecture, file, link, text, and audio/video content
When you choose to analyze content, the App may process the files, links, pasted text, audio, video, documents, transcripts, images, or other content that you provide. This content is used to create study materials, translations, summaries, quizzes, flashcards, vocabulary lists, and exams.
Camera and image data
The App may request camera permission only when you choose to capture an image or document for text extraction, file translation, document review, or study material generation. The camera is not used in the background.
Purchases and credits
If you buy credits or use paid features, we may process purchase status, product identifiers, transaction information provided by the app store, credit balance, usage records, and related account data.
Technical and diagnostic information
We may collect technical information such as device type, app version, operating system version, error logs, crash information, diagnostics, and basic usage events to maintain and improve the App.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide lecture review, transcription, translation, summarization, quiz, flashcard, vocabulary, and exam features.
- Authenticate users and maintain user sessions.
- Display Microsoft Teams recorded classes and upcoming classes when you connect Teams.
- Process files, audio, video, links, documents, images, and text that you choose to submit.
- Save study materials and library items for later review when supported by the App.
- Manage credits, purchases, and usage limits.
- Improve reliability, security, performance, and user experience.
- Respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests.
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share or process information with service providers only as needed to operate the App and provide the requested features.
These service providers may include:
- Authentication and database providers such as Firebase/Google services.
- Microsoft services when you connect Microsoft Teams or Microsoft 365.
- AI, transcription, translation, and analysis providers used to process content you submit.
- Cloud hosting and backend API providers used to run the App services.

- You can choose not to connect Microsoft Teams.
- You can choose not to grant camera permission.
- You can remove or deny permissions through your device settings.
- You can choose what files, links, recordings, images, or text you submit for analysis.

6. Account and Data Deletion Requests
To request deletion of your account or personal data, contact info@british-online.uk. Please include the email address or account identifier used in the App so we can locate your account. Some information may be retained where required by law, security, fraud prevention, payment records, or legitimate business needs.
7. Children and Students
Study Review AI is intended for students and educational users. If a school, academy, parent, or guardian provides access to the App, they may be responsible for obtaining any required permissions under applicable laws. Users should not submit sensitive information unless it is necessary for the learning feature they choose to use.
8. International Processing
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your country of residence, depending on the service providers used to operate the App.
